@thecreativeone91 Did you find a good place online? Everything I downloaded as a dmg was not usable to create a boot disk.

Well the downloads I have tried all were garbage and didn't work. I guess I will be purchasing Snow Leopard from Apple for $20 and wait for it to be mailed to me.

it appears Lion and Snow Leopard which I also found on this site: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MacBook#Model_specifications

I have a spare SSD to replace the HD and would like to get familiar with the OS so I don't have to turn away more Mac clients.

I have possession of a white MacBook 13.3" - Late 2006 which needs a hard drive and OS. I believe it can only run OS X Snow Leopard. Anyone have a .iso for testing purposes?

LOL...no, the customer seemed sketchy when he signed up for hosting services and then added that file to the server. So booting = cancelling his service.

    • RE: Skype for Business

Trouble shooter had me login using [email protected] which worked. However next step was using the [email protected] which says:

The account you used to sign in is not provisioned for Skype for Business services.

Arrg...troubleshooter says get a password change.

It appears that SfB wants me to use the [email protected] address, but then won't login using

[email protected] (office 365 user and admin) and [email protected] (o365 admin and email address created for the account 1.5 years ago) addresses.

I have tried using technobble.us\alex and tnbonline.onmicrosoft.com\Alexander as well.

Go into, Settings -> Tools -> Options -> Personal -> Advanced.

Change manual config to look like this:

      The address is: sipdir.online.lync.com:443

      I am trying this now...

Using [email protected] as the sign-in address give the error

"Can't sign in to Skype for Business SfB could find a SfB server for technobabble.us."

If I use [email protected] for the sign-in address I am prompted for a password which I supply (can use it to log in to O365 webs-just tested it) and now the error is:

"Can't sign in to Skype for Business SfB The user name, password or domain appears to be incorrect.

According to my O365 my organizaional domains are: technobabble.us, and tnbonline.onmicrosoft.com

    • Possible malicous file

I found a file called maile.php on the server.

First lines make me think it could be malware:

"mailer inbox, mailer inbox to all, inbox 2013, inbox 2014, send inbox, send inbox to hotmail aol gmail, script mailer inbox, how to send inbox, send anonymous emails, alboraaq send inbox, unlimitid send inbox,by rocky & poter

      TEAM ALBORAAQ
      CONTACT[at]ALBORAAQ[dot]COM
      HTTP://WWW.ALBORAAQ.COM
      ( TOOLS - 2014 ) "

Is there a way I can find out if it really is malware?

    • Skype for Business

According to my O365 portal admin area, I have this software on my PC as well a the privilege to use it.

When I go to login it says to use your Sign-in address, not your Skype Name or Microsoft Account.

      Where is this found?

@scottalanmiller The amount of feature upgrades they do monthly is fantastic. I've never been disappointed in their product. Support is pretty damn quick as well.
