I and a few others here know the owner of this MSP! Just before he got his with this he actually won an award for that county as best MSP.

Well the client didn't pay their bill. So he shut off services.

And the fact that the new MSP took 10 days to get their email running..... there is a reason why he is cheaper

For obvious reasons Jim can't really talk about stuff. But jeeze louise we need to get the message out there that a client suing an MSP for shutting unpaid for services is not extortion and it's their fault!

So I had a call a bit ago with someone (who found me on facebook) that is looking for IT work. Willing to work for any wage. Was going to ITT Tech but didn't graduate because they got shut down. He can't find a college to take his credits from ITT Tech (well yeah). So I ask what his experience is. He is great with his smartphone (I ask what his phone is. it's not a smartphone). He doesn't own a computer and never has. He is a receptionist for a Gym that's the only job he has ever had.

I give the guy points for wanting to work in IT and reaching out to someone and being willing to do anything. But ummm, no. I did offer him an internship position, I did tell him he had to get a computer and internet etc. first.

I can't make this crap up.

Keep the ideas of what you would like to see coming. I am watching and reading. We are looking at getting together an ML conference sometime in 2015 but want to make it very affordable so have to look into sponsors etc. as well. But the goal is for it to be for HIGH level IT Pro's and as such with give Vendors a real way to step up and work with us and really dig deep.

And of course I had to bring my favorite Tech team in to help me out. Cause as you all know doing IT work makes me cranky.
