      Hold Ctrl and launch Outlook.

If this doesn't work, create a new Outlook profile from within the control panel.

    • Xen Orchestra - Monorepo installation Changes

      Hey all,

The XO team has made some changes to the installation process and we need some people to test our upgrade on a working set of systems.

We ( @danp and I ) are looking for users who are on a current distro of Debian or Ubuntu, but who have had their systems running for a while now.

To run the process, obviously backup first and then run the below.

      sudo bash
      <password>
      sudo curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Jarli01/xenorchestra_updater/New-Install-Path/xo-update.sh | bash

Thanks and let me know how it goes.

Obviously we're "hoping" everything just works. Within the installation things should move from /opt/xo-server to /opt/xen-orchestra

Along with a few other changes, nothing critical but need to confirm upgradability.

Why is anyone putting a RAID controller into a Desktop with Windows 10 Pro?!

      CAD?

Um maybe if this workstation was being used as a rendering farm. I've worked in CAD shops with extremely complex designs and an SSD has been way more than enough.

In no case does this make sense.

What hypervisor? 7TB and 13 Million files doesn't seem that excessive for pretty much any solution today.

OP is asking for recommendations on how to setup high availability, using an OBR5 SSD array (great, wonderful you have your head on) needs some recommendations for how to create backups, and what hypervisor / backup solution he should consider.

      First reply:

RAID 5 isn't used anymore today, you want RAID10.

    • RE: MS Licensing Issues Regarding Machines Donated for Use Outside of US

@scott I'd simply remove Windows from the computers entirely. "Cleaning" often isn't good enough and you may still be out of compliance with Microsoft, unless all you literally do is "clean" the systems.

Reinstallation or imaging of the computers can easily put you out of compliance.

Take the easier path here and install a light linux distro. This way you don't have to think about Microsoft.

    • RE: UniFi Home Lab vs Campus

The Unifi access points are managed with the Unifi Controller, any network equipment would be managed with UNMS.

So the setup and administration would be the same; unless you wanted to get DPI, content filtering and a few other features which requires a security gateway.

But essentially, yes the setup and administration is all of the same.

I can totally support our troops, but I'm not up for paying to have a parade. Put that tax money towards actually supporting our troops, give them better health care and other support that they need.
