      That pretty much sums it up. Fully updated Windows 10 Pro on an HP Envy trying to play Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY Edition from Steam and DirectX crashes on me. Anyone seen this or have an idea of what path to take to address it?

      It an unhandled .NET Framework exception.

        Here is the stack dump...

        See the end of this message for details on invoking
        just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

        ************** JIT Debugging **************
        To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
        application or computer (machine.config) must have the
        jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
        The application must also be compiled with debugging
        enabled.

        For example:

        <configuration>
            <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
        </configuration>

        When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
        will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
        rather than be handled by this dialog box.

          Looks like a Windows 10 compatibility problem. Need to run the compatibility tester on it and set it to Windows 8 compatibility.

            I would also check to see what version of .NET Framework you have installed. I've had games crash because I was running a higher version then they supported.

            Which is insane

              What versions of .NET Framework do you have?
              Also, something to try if you haven't already: dxdiag
              Where did you install the graphics drivers from?

              • When you installed them, did you do a clean install or just paste over the top?
