IMO, their participation was sporadic even when the wheels weren't falling off.
They were doing okay for the first few weeks. But the wheels started falling off really soon with that first major outage and no ability to answer questions about why it happened. They gave some lame excuses about getting the right resources and never answering as to why they didn't have network redundancy and never really participated again.
I think that was the issues they wanted to avoid answering them.
-
Well, they've deleted my account on their site, which I'm hoping also clears up the outstanding invoices since that is what they were tied to.
Not surprising, but they still haven't deleted my Panel account.
-
@Danp small steps. They are probably pretty overwhelmed.
-
@Danp why does it matter? There is nothing they can do about it. Charge backs are a legal right.
-
Paypal said they requested to hear back from CloutatCost by the 18th and it's now the 19th. Still no updates on my claims. Any way I can proceed from here?
-
@thecreativeone91 It matters because I want them to just "go away" and not become that pesky mosquito buzzing around and pestering me about payment for two outstanding invoices.
-
@handsofqwerty Give it a little more time and you will likely get you refund from PP.

That would be a question for Paypal.

I can't find a way to reach out to them though.

Have you checked the status of your claim in the Resolution Center?

Yup, and I see no way to escalate it or contact PayPal.

@handsofqwerty Any update on your refund?
-
I got my refund no issue after the claim date. It's up to Paypal.
Maybe cloudatcost PayPal balance is out of cash? So now PayPal are chasing them for a debt

It doesn't matter if it's out of cash they just put negative balance on your account.

Surely there comes a point when they pull the plug, especially with the number of refund requests C@C have been getting.

Nope. They can't. It's in the terms. But they can withdraw all the funds from any attached cards or bank accounts.
-
They did the refund but to a card I no longer have. Trying to get them to change that.
-
I've submitted my disputes as well. $140 coming back my way! lol
