Just learned something really cool about X2Go Server... If you use their nightly PPA, you can actually connect to an active desktop session... so if I use my laptop and lock it and then walk away... I can connect back to it and use my system right where I left off.

Yeah. It seems to work relatively well with my VM. Now to see how it runs on hardware after I get home. Do you know if there's an Android X2Go client? (search results usually show a Stock Trading app, lol).

Off the top of my head I remember someone talking about a Chrome App. Never heard of it for Android.

Came in and our new £20K Citrix farm wasn't working because somehow the controller thinks it's own ip is in use (despite being static) so was on the 169.x.x.x address, changed the address on Friday all working came in this morning to find DNS still showing the old address. So had ago at the MSP that set it all up, along with that people asking for urgent things that were more like "I've forgot my password" and me saying that's not priority getting the Citrix working is wasn't good enough for them lol. So felt like just saying bugger it!
I'm on my own today lol

Is this really an issue? You overlap IPs in your DHCP range with statically assigned one? Sure it can be done, but I try to avoid it at nearly any cost.

It amazes me how many people are petrified of self driving cars. One of my English friends swears it will never happen in England.
