I've done salt in my coffee.. Was horrible and put me off coffee for days, because every time I made a cup I got a ghost taste in my mouth.

I was working midnight shifts in '92 as a grain sampler for the state of Missouri. Was stationed at a grain elevator that loaded barges and completely did not notice that I grabbed the wrong container, put in a whole spoonful.

Gotta love math.

Has anyone had a cut that may have needed a stitch but you toughed it out anyway and let it heal? I've not had one since I sliced as finger on a sharp drive bay back in the 90s. Yesterday, I grabbed a blender blade from the dishwasher and grabbed the blade part with my thumb like a dummy. Took about 30 minutes of constant pressure to stop bleeding. Bandaged it well, redressed it this morning. Did bump it working on a printer tray today and it made a corner of it bleed but not bad. Just being prideful in not going to doctor for a stitch since I've never needed a stitch in my life. I had people (not joking) say use super glue...what???

Just keep it clean and covered for a few days. I am a klutz and do things like that all the time and can't say I have never gone for stiches before, I think last count for injuries only I have had over 100 stitches. On your hand avoid stitches they make matters worse and are more painful then leaving it alone. Don't forget the Neosporin or similar on it.

Cool...that's what I am doing so far...it sure looks uglier today than yesterday...imagine it will look worse before getting better...if I can just avoid bumping it, I'll be good...
