Another case of an elementary school student who is more educated than the teacher. This is becoming the norm, I feel.
And why are they writing by hand? Is this the 1980s?

I had a teacher in elementary school that could not tell time. Or could not tell the date, depending on how you looked at it. She wasn't sure how midnight and the change of days related and was sometimes off a day because she couldn't use clocks correctly.

Most schools feel type written districts from learning and technology is generally bad. we only had one teach in HS that allow typed work. In college it was even worse very very few did.

That's how I feel about hand writing. Makes kids focus on mechanical and muscle challenges and makes those that struggle with handwriting suffer in other areas. And it makes everything take so much longer and leave much less time for learning. It's really just a way that schools waste time to focus on things they understand (handwriting) and not have to spend so much time on things they don't (spelling, math, history, etc.)

She also changed special to valuable, but spelled it "valuble". lol

This looks like something I'd use to get fish bait in the areas of my yard where the grass grows the thickest.

@dafyre I don't know where that pic really came from, but that is a sawn-off "Rock Band" drumstick with a silly metal plate jammed on the tip and dents cross-drilled over the edge of it or something. You can see the "R" from where it says Rock Band. lol

It's a pic of a little kid's toy that he wrote a story about.

I have no idea what it does to be honest. I just though the kids version of it was funny.

@art_of_shred Details details... I still call it useful for fish bait, lol... It doesn't make such a good drum stick now.
I'd never even played Rockband, I don't think.... or Guitar Hero, lol.

When you use the other non-ribbed drumstick on it by rubbing it up and down, it causes vibration to go up the drumstick and make the metal piece spin.
By holding the drumstick a certain way, you can cause the spin to reverse because it changes the wave of the vibrations.
Did you guys never have one of these as kids? I did in the 70's.
