Any tips on finding good contractors dotted around the UK to do things like cabling Cat5/6, fibre runs. Just popping in to replace switches etc.
Our furthest store is now a 5hr drive. Don't fancy doing that just to plug in a AP or phone, or to just patch something in

Not really, just learning who is where and building up a rolodex of people to call on is about all that you can do.
