For the record this is not a real situation either. It's just a thought I had. I would never knowingly lie like that but I think most of the people who know me here know that

Edit: My wife usually gets up, goes right to what I was telling her we were out of and hands it to me.

Edit: My wife usually gets up, goes right to what I was telling her we were out of and hands it to me.
I rarely say we're out of something - instead I just ask where she put it.

I get the "OMG did you even look" after searching for an hour though. She actually threw out what I was looking for and was trying to cover it up. . .
Other times I'm completely blind to it. . . if it was a snake . . .

It would have bitten me, followed me to the hospital, bitten me a few more times and I'd only see it as it was escaping out the hospital's closest entrance.
