Multi Stream Video - Demo Recording
-
A friend of mine is looking at doing some videos to share as instructional stuff. So he's gearing up on the hardware side f things'
I seem to recall a thread on hardware / software to do this,.. but I can't seem to find it. I have already told him of the following:
- OpenShot
- ScreenCast
- Dedicated Mic
But one thing I think he would need is multi camera - so software that will record from several USB cameras (maybe) or Decent Go-Pro LIKE cameras maybe....
Thoughts?

What kind of recording will he do? USB Webcams and GoPros are both probably terrible for what he is going to do. You'll want something good, like a mirrorless with a set focus. I use a Lumix mirrorless. And you need some way to monitor yourself. Either a camera that can show you yourself or a monitor.

LOL, oh I know that's so screwed up. I use the Lumix for SAMIT, but not for casual recording.

Lumix mirrorless
I should have mentioned ---
On a small budget. so a $1,600 camera isn't going to work.

Um WHAT?
Lumix makes high end cams for like $300. How the heck are you shopping?

Even professional models are only $497

I’ll have to go back and look- I was trying to do four different things and my first search may have been off.
