Looks like it's just another DNS/DHCP/Firewall tool with a front ux that's easier to manage.

Don't use technology as a replacement for being a parent.

        ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not familiar with that one specifically. There are several that would seem to do similar things. I'm sure that they all work roughly the same.

I think Disney makes one now, but I wouldn't trust a Disney device. Tech and Disney are oil and water.

piece of hardware that does parental control

Maybe a pi-hole server with lists to block certain categories?

Router Limits appears to just be another DNS tool, and one from Bark. Bark wasn't too impressive on 🌶 if I remember correctly.

Their hardware looks pretty crappy. Like 2002 era junk. And their partners aren't very impressive (or known.)

Pi-Hole version 5 is in beta and you can use its new group management to fine tune web filtering.

                    Create your groups

Add your clients to your groups

Add your domain as a exact whitelist, regex whitelist, exact blacklist, or regex blacklist and assign it to your group

You can use group assignment to assign your adlist.

In Pi-Hole v5, you can assign clients to multiple group assignments.
