Doesn't the second port on these AP's act as a bridge only?

This sounds like a horrible solution. There are better solutions for things like this that are designed for this.

Here's some more detail on this.
You'll need a PoE injector for every AP.
PoE, AP > Bridge >Ethernet run > PoE, AP > Bridge >Ethernet run > PoE, AP > Bridge >Ethernet run > PoE, AP

So you're thinking have a central unit that services each of the cottages, rather than an AP per cottage.

So you're thinking have a central unit that services each of the cottages, rather than an AP per cottage.
If I understand @JaredBusch correctly, he is thinking more like a WISP solution where you put a multi point antenna on a mast and then at each cottage have a rocket mounted outside to link with the multi point and then a AC on the inside of the cottage. That was a thought too, but there are trees all over and that adds a lot of gear, which drives up the cost.

Well, there are wires to the mast or high point where the equipment would be centrally located. But due to the tree coverage he'd be limited to the "900MHz, Better tolerance for trees and small obstacles"
Which may not even be allowed in the area.

Here is an image. The drawing is wildy not to scale. From the Main House to Birch is about 600', thus the multi mode fiber. From Lakeshore 1,2,3 to Lakeview is 115'.

Which may not even be allowed in the area.Due to the trees we would probably be talking 80' towers before taking the fresnel zone in to consideration.

@Mike-Davis at AP6 are you planning to have a switch there? You said there would only be 3 AP's for the longest chain, but that's 5.

AP 12 is just floating out there on the lake, which would mean at least a second 3 link chain.

Yes, switch at AP 6, so 7 and 8 would daisy chain to 9. I would probably be possible to run straight from the Main House to 7 and then go from 7 back to 6 and 5.

Yes, that sounds like a better solution if you can do it.

Seems like it wouldn't be difficult to setup a secure location outside of cabin Maple, or cabin Spruce and then home run everything there... you're pretty much already running the conduit. Then run a fiber (or Cat6e if the distance isn't that large) back to the main office. Otherwise treating this as a WISP and each cabin as a subscriber would be the best solution.

I think 12 is just a reference to denote the symbol for the APs. It's not the actual number.

Conduit, digging, man power etc.
