Never used them this is high.
Not bad, but higher per minute than Twilio all the way around.
Higher than VoIP.ms on outbound and some inbound.

There was some confusion about how our published rates work vs how our relationship pricing works. We updated our website to make this more clear

Except, resale and wholesale are always 100% negotiation. Can you even read?
This is totally different than consumer purchasing.

@travisdh1 The two main reasons we don't publish our wholesale rates are:
- It prevents fraud. Having customers call into out sales line and talk to a person is a fantastic way to reduce our toll fraud exposure.
- It lets us make sure we're the right fit for you. If you call in and need SIP Registration, we'd tell out right then and there that we aren't the provider for you.
Since we don't lock you into a contract or require any minimums, our sales process is pretty simple. We find out what you are paying now and discount your rates so our prices are cheaper. If we can't save you money, we'll tell you on the spot. If you don't have any technical questions and already signed up online, the entire call can take less than 5 mins. There's no back-and-forth or annoying approval process involved.

For clarification - our unpublished rates are not exclusively for Resellers, they're available for anyone who calls in. You just need to give us your last month's invoice or account statement for us to review your pricing.
If the pricing we need to beat is extremely low, then we usually want to know what your call volumes are and what platform you are using. This is so we can factor in what technical support needs you may have. If a customer is using a very old version of Asterisk or an old Toshiba system, they are likely to have more technical support needs than customers using a fresh install of FusionPBX. In this case we may decline to offer you better rates unless you have significant volumes to make up for the support time. This is why its all negotiated and not published

All of that is inconsequential to the conversation. As an individual if I need a home phone I want the lowest possible rates and to quickly be able to find said pricing online.
If I was like @JaredBusch or @scottalanmiller I want to have my customers know that they are getting the best price possible without having to have a Skyetel evaluate their value with some hidden math.
While the pricing listed isn't horrible there are other vendors who list their pricing and are known to have great support too!

We aren't resellers, though. We are in IT, not VARs. So reseller rates don't really apply, generally.

Yes, so unless our customers are resellers, this process makes no sense. And if they were resellers, the retail pricing we get from other places would, I assume, also be lower.

Why publish prices that are high, and just hope that people will call and try to talk you down? Seems counter intuitive.
This is tough as customers, especially MSPs researching for customers, often have to have pricing from many sources and quickly. So contacting each to work out pricing can be difficult. Often we need pricing ahead of time, you sit in a meeting and someone asks for pricing recommendations expecting you to already know them, adding more complication.

I'd almost think that it would be better to not publish anything and only say to call in for pricing. The published pricing might be misleading.

Best thing to do is find people that have used Skyetel and talk to them or at least read some reviews of what they have said.
Google search: Skyetel look on the right and you will see 27 reviews at this moment all 5 stars. If you read the reviews you will see the customers of Skyetel are really happy. Part of that happiness comes from good customer service and from the prices that have saved a lot of people money. I know some of the people that gave the reviews... at least 25% of them use FusionPBX.
