 Looks like a sweet update.

@scottalanmiller said in Miscellaneous Tech News: Looks like a sweet update. I'm hoping the resolution update will help the nausea I feel every time I put one of these things on. They are talking about doing some smoothing in the software as well but that would mean I would need a stupidly beastly computer to do it.

Smoothing in the headset software, if the computer was doing the smoothing, you'd just render higher.

In glass finger print reader. I dont' know about the rest of you, but the lack of a button has really annoyed me with the iPhone X and the Samsung Galaxy S8.

The absolute best place for a fingerprint reader on the phone is on the back. Like it is on a lot of LG phones, and the Google Pixel 2XL I have. It is the natural place your finger rests when you pick it up a lot of times.

I frequently touch the sensor on my phone while it's laying down on my desk. Picking it up would be a huge hassle.

 And...there goes Signal

@scottalanmiller said in Miscellaneous Tech News: @nerdydad said in Miscellaneous Tech News: And...there goes Signal Glad I never used that. I love Signal. It's a great means of communications, similar to your iMessenger between 2 iPhones. I missed it when I went to Android. It just seems that every time Microsoft gets their hands on an awesome product, it totally turns to crap.
