Well, that really, really sucks.

Also, if you're just staying in Illinois because of the booze, Michigan has WAY better beer and is just across the Lake. You could literally stop in damn near any small town throughout the state and find a decent brewery.
Even if you only consider Three Floyd's brewery in Munster, Indiana has way better beer than Illinois. If you also throw in Upland's wheat they win hands down.
And, well, Wisconsin has always been superior to Illinois in booze and alcoholics.
I can't think of a good reason to move to Iowa, Misery, or any other state to the South...
That was complete sarcasm. Illinois is a shithole.
As I live in Schaumburg, I am in one of the best municipalities in the state.
We'll see how long I can make it before outside pressures force a change.

Screw Chicago, I am from Southern Illinois, damn arrogant bastards up north. If you really want my opinion.......

You do realize where I am from right?
But I can count past 10 without taking off my shows, so I was a prodigy from the region.

That sounds like Georgia...

San Diego doesn't seem to have a problem selling it in any place with a cash register.

That is the traditional Mason-Dixon line for Illinoisians.

Well, I've got a phone interview for something on Monday. All I know for sure is that it's a 3rd party hiring agency, so could be great or could be horrible, have to see.

Options are nice to have - and if bad,.. you can turn it down.

It went quite well. Sounds like a good pay raise for easier (for me) work, and in Akron, so driving time not much different from where I am now.

Nope, this was interview #1. Probably at least 1 more before I'd get an offer.

I hope it works out for you, if the 1st one went great, I'm sure they'll schedule a second.

Don't come to my town, you'll be lucky to scratch $14/hr to start anywhere doing anything.

Hope things go well for the second one
