It's fun so far. There was some funny parts that made us laugh. There was a certain scene that reminds me of Apple.
Edit: And that dog is something.

Monk. My wife loves it.
I finally convinced her that Adrian Monk is as much of a jerk as Sheldon Cooper. At least, she admits it to me, probably just to get me to give over. -
Just watched Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone with the kids.
-
Just started The Chamber of Secrets.

Kids are watching one of the Doraemon movies.
Force them to watch Japanese stuff instead of their American youtubers

I haven't found many dubs of almost anything that I like. I wish I understood more Japanese so I could listen to the boring parts and watch the interesting ones, but subs are my only means at this point.

This was recorded on our DVR in Japan and watched via Slingbox.

Finished season 2 of Iron Fist and it was awesome. It's so much better than season 1.

I typically prefer the Japanese voice actors but don't speak Japanese. There are exceptions though, like Spike in Cowboy Bebop

The problem with many dubs today are the lack of proper tone of voice. But I can only say that after being surrounded by native Japanese in my own house for more than a decade now.
Compared to dubs from the late 90's, modern dubs are perfection.
Compared to the early 00's, modern dubs are great.Dub's since about 2012 or so have gotten much better. I think that is because the translators have gotten better in making the translated scripts to contain more information than just the words.
The voice actors themselves have almost always been decent given the material they had to work with

I need to figure out where my Cowboy Bebop got to!
