I'm honestly not sure why they didn't bring him back? Maybe they couldn't afford him?
He was great. He's an actor that I really like. He's why I watched Terms of Engagement.
Literally the only reason I finished that series.

It is different for sure but once you get into it you want to know how it ends. The plot is intriguing and seems to keep the attention.

Ive not watched Man in the High Castle either but have read the book. How do they stretch a 150 page book to two seasons of tv? It must have more detailed character interactions and side quests than the novel.

It is drawn out but yeah I guess they make it go longer and longer.
