Just took the kids swimming. We are starting to get settled in down here. SO far south, it's weird.

Did grocery shopping today, $482. Was not expecting Panamá to cost so much.

Yes, it is a brick lattice with grass in little pockets. It's really nice.

good idea for places that don't get snow.

Yeah, pretty safe that there will be no snow here. If there was snow, the last thing you'd be thinking about is plowing it!!!

Wow - Didn't expect that either. Now is that in U.S. currency or the local currency?

It's a good idea I agree - save for those vehicles that leak oil. Not a EPA nut,.. but oil and fuel leaks and run off would filer down into the ground water....

Does spilling on concrete really stop that? sure some is absorbed into the concrete, but not all.

No it doesn't. While it may sit on the surface longer, it would wash and still be classified as run off when it rained.

                                  Nothing is perfect.

Where would it go if you were on all tarmac? Still has to work its way down.

Pretty much. Technically the Balboa is the local currency but it is locked to the dollar so most people just say it is the same thing. Everything is written like it is in dollars and everyone takes dollars.
