I have some new plants this season. Scotch bonnets (just flowering now) and jallapenios (finally turning red after what seems like an age of man).
I changed how my plants were positioned and put replanted them in the garden bed... the Habenero, Scorpion CARDI and Thai didn't make it through winter tried a few things to 'over winter' them but I thik I'll stick to pots so I can move them as necessary.

man it's going to be a stinker in Mildura and surrounds, around 45 they reckon. Shouldn't be that bad down south where I am, but still hotter than usual.
reading a book on Sturt's trip into the centre of Oz. In his journal he mentions it got pretty hot one day. 57 in the shade, 69 in the sun, that in celsius.

Happy Thanksgiving to all in the USA

Keeping peppers healthy during the winter can be tricky. I've had good success by adding a grow lamp. Seems like winter sunshine is pretty weak after passing through a window.
And don't forget that jalapenos are tasty green or red.

Just about to head to Thanksgiving dinner with the family.
