I am actually just getting to work today since my son had tubes put in his ears this morning. Everything went well, and he was hanging from the ceiling fans when I left the house. (I think the docs gave him a shot of adrenaline or something, lol).

Just found out it is going to be cool and rainy in Morocco this weekend. Total score. Nice weather for Fes. Going to be very neat.

What about LibreOffice? Free on Mac and way more full featured than the Apple tools.
NeoOffice tends to work better on macs

I have a group of users that's actually breaking stuff faster than I can fix it. While this is indeed in my best interests to remain employed, I still wish to slap them all about with a trout ala monty python. I need to get some stress relief soon.

I wonder if the ICC compiler is really much faster than GCC these days. GCC probably gets way more research. ICC was great twenty years ago and is probably still the best, but is the margin very big?

IF it's using the GTK+ runtime I'd say it will be a big difference. Seems a lot of GCC stuff has used GTK+ which sucks on windows and usually creates buggy programs that are prone to crashing. That was a problem for firefox on mac for a long time it wasn't native GUI and wasn't using COCA so it tended to be slow and laggy.

Scored another cake. This time a slice/square of... well I'm not 100% sure of what kind of cake it is.

It looks like banana was supposed to be a main ingredient and topped with some kind of brownish, chocolate esque icing...
Not tasting any banana but I can see evidence of it in the cake. It's pretty bland actually. A large smearing of butter may have helped if the wasn't crumbly.
Icing was a poor effort.
Half way through it and not liking it but I'll finish it any way

The last half was better as I'd already eaten all the icing.
