Talk about your 'custom keyboard'... wow Build your own..
It's sourced kit, you get the PCB, keycaps (different colors) and clear case,.. you have to solder it all up.
I can imagine there are some 5 year olds that could solder better than I can.

Me too. But my gf can solder like a champ, so she'll be assisting in rewiring my guitar.

I've always liked the idea of a keyboard mounted on the arms of a chair like in Seaquest DSV or here: http://web.archive.org/web/20060414235432/http://www.kinesis-ergo.com:80/evol_chair.htm. I don't know if it would actually be that great though. Mousing wouldn't be a problem for me because I use a thumb trackball for everything short of FPSs.

The never ending money pit was apparently the house in NY. . . this one is in Texas so I have no idea what is wrong with it. . .

The one in NY was sold and closed on a couple of months ago.

It's 40 years old, needs to be essentially rebuilt from the ground up.

A 40 year old home isn't old. . . the house I live in is older than that. . . and it required way less work than what you're having to put into this place.

Email migration. Moving our email from Vultr in Paris, to our Scale HC3 cluster in Los Angeles.

Plumbing just wrapped up! Time for tile work to start.

Interesting. Why was the email workload in Paris? Just for testing?

We were more based there at the time. It's been there for a couple years.

All is now right in the world. It's Opening Day, and I now have my Microsoft natural keyboard at my office workstaion.
I prefer cheap, classic rectangles. It’s funny. But “free with the desktop” are consistently my favourite.
I go with the basic rectagle also. I do not use the free with desktop one, only because I want wireless.
Just bought a new one Tuesday. First one in like 7 years.
That's awesome your has two Windows keys. Using Gnome with Wayland, I miss having the extra Windows key on the right when I'm using a Windows VM.
