Holy cow, the green guy express pulled in to refuel and this station!
Can't believe no one has recommended Ulingo, SMH. Or what about NTG?
With all the vendors shit posting their wares I can easily see my $1000+ a month going anywhere but SW and actually yielding some sales.
Yes, it's a shit post fest all the time, and I know that at least I am conditioned to leave any thread that has a GG posting on it, it's instant thread death. I don't even read what is there. I see the email notification that a GG has responded and I just delete the email and move on. The whole system is useless to me. I'm only interested in threads where they remain technical.
Lol who is GG?
GG = vendor whore. Not to be trusted, ever.
Except for Phil, he's cool.
Nothing wrong with whores, as long as they don't work for some tech vendor.
"Hey baby, I can show you a good time if you tell me about your storage system pain points..."

My complaint that thread (haven't checked it in a day or so) was all of these "here's the perfect solution for you" responses before the OP gave any usable requirements.

He doesn't even KNOW his requirements yet. He's speaking to the business tomorrow to get his first bit of requirements!
-
@scottalanmiller Should've written "before OP gives. . ." rather than gave.

The guy kind of asked for it.
"What is the best Cloud PBX"
And then "I gotta talk to my IT guy"

At the moment I'm reading ML and waiting for ships to build in X Rebirth.
Only game I ever pre ordered on Steam. Is it fixed now?

I haven't started a new game to see if the story line is still buggy or not, but the rest of it is much improved. I pre-ordered it on steam as well, but I knew going in that this would be a horrible start as it was the first game they made using this new engine. I actually picked up one of the expansions and am looking forward to a new start with that tonight.

Since I am also involved in a church there is also an involvement in politics and a group of people trying to control everything to their benefits.
I simply refuse to participate in that type of politics -- especially in religious organizations.
Me too, that is why I stopped offering my services although they know very well that when things hit the fan they call me. I explain to them that I had already noted this months and years ago.

Desperately trying to push SAN at any cost... https://community.spiceworks.com/topic/2087894-new-san-replacing-an-md3620f-dell-scv3000-vs-nimble
Sales goon, I think. Let's see what they push at the end of the day.

With the "Budget is $25k" requirements he has, nothing will get done for what he wants!

Not reading it, but Scale only cost $25k for a good entry level cluster.

He'll soon have his green tags and that topic deleted. It's fine.

He needs 16TB usable, with 2TB flash (for some reason) and wants to use SAN's for it.

Ok, so mid level Scale cluster instead of entry level!

Nap over. Back to RHCSA book.

Well maybe. . . he says "4x 480GB flash" which could be SSD's from which to run the hypervisor (which LOL if true and doesn't make sense) or as array flash (makes the most sense) based on the post.
So yeah. . . it's up in the air.
