I win. Just had a talk with one of my bosses that ended with a conversation about the benefits of virtualizing our production servers. A small step forward, but a necessary step.
Is your FreePBX server currently virtualized?
Yes, what will be deployed will be a Vultr instance. Our current PBX, the Altigen thing, is a box sitting in our basement. By production servers, I should've clarified to say the servers that host our web application and database.

Sweet. Any idea what you're going to be pushing for? XS? KVM? ESXi/vSphere? Hyper-V?

@mattspeller 2 different sellers, all 8 drives showed "foreign config", which means that they were all used. Bastards. 5/8 of them instantly started blinking the orange light on the tray... DOA.

I'd be livid, that's not right man. Hope you left a scathing review!

It was bought through the CTO's account... but I'll get him to at least let me leave them reviews.

Most likely Hyper-V. Our server in our office (AD, file server, Sage) is Hyper-V. One of the production boxes actually has Hyper-V as a role to run a postfix VM. As I do research, unless I find a compelling reason to not use Hyper-V, it seems like that would make the most sense for the environment.

I was specifically told NOT to eat Mexican in Maryland. I got a strange look there once when I asked for chicken fried steak.
I recommend not eating in Maryland at all. It's not a food location. Even NJ is better.
LOL just starve if you are going to Maryland, you are better off.
Pretty much.
And stop freaking putting Old Bay on everything. We get it, it's Maryland and you have to hide the flavour of bad cooking.
Sorry Old Bay is good on some things... Like fresh Chesapeake Bay Blue Crab....
