SW's 13 days of SysMas for SysAdmin Day next Friday. They've done this the last couple of years.

! For the first time ever the sign-in and license acquisition for Visual Studio using a license from Action Pack worked the first time. Now to deal with the problem of not being able to assign my 3rd license.

I'm reminded of all those RWNJ conspiracy videos you can watch on youtube. It's just kind of funny.

See how I get on first lol -
Picked up metric 12.9 bolts this morning for my motorcycle saddle bags (the last ones were 10.8 and broke), then picked up donuts for the office (had a coupon). Came in to find my account locked out. This has been happening for the past couple days and I've not been able to find the source. I might focus on it a little more later, see if I can find a smoking gun log entry.
It seems like all of my personal accounts are having issues. My account being locked out is just the latest in a string of bad luck. The outlook.com account that I've had forever won't delete email from my imap account (literally has 3 copies of the same email that I've deleted twice) and I've had to re-authenticate a bunch of sites lately since they all expire around the same time thanks to my propensity to reset passwords on sites in a regular fashion. Super annoying, though expected and not a 'bad sign.'
I cannot wait for the weekend.

Windows? Netwrix has a good tool for this (https://www.netwrix.com/account_lockout_examiner.html) I've found it very useful in the past.

I can just see where this is headed. This guy is so insistent on defending the value of the A+ that he's going to make himself look like a complete idiot to do it. It's like when people try to make college sound great - and forget that they are just making themselves look like they didn't know anything going in and found simple things to be hard.
-
@scottalanmiller That's a confusing thread.

I have no idea what any of this means.

Yeah. At least it turned out he didn't work in IT at all, which explains why the A+ made sense to him.
