For some reason, I have gotten a bunch of upvotes on a random comment on SW from 2015.
Which one per se?
This one... Which is funny, but why are people still actively reading the post?
I did my bit too 71....
But yeah, this has happened to me a few times...it's weird.

When people post about it, I like to find some of their old stuff and up vote it...

Stayed up way too late trying to get Kemp running.
That was successful, at least with the non Exchange 2013 stuff. Next goal, push Exchange through it.
Is there another foss solution for load balancing besides Kemp?

HAProxy is one, and you can do some Load Balancing with Nginx, but I'm unsure as to whether or not it will load balance anything other than HTTP/HTTPS.

I am not after a load balancer. I want to proxy Exchange 2013 as well as Nextcloud and potentially a couple other things. Client site only has a single WAN IP.

FreeSwitch and FreePBX are not the same thing so your friend has no idea what he is a talking about.
FreeSwitch is a PBX.
FreePBX is a distribution.
They cannot even be compared intelligently.
Feel free to have him post on here and try and convince me otherwise.

Yeah, I've learned that well. Still, that's what went through my head reading the tone.

You at least are simply not educated.
FreeSwitch is a PBX. FreePBX is a number of things, but one thing it is not, is a PBX.
So there is irony in the names.

I understand FreePBX to be a GUI for the Asterik PBX.
