Tracking my laptop from DELL...
Which went right past me. sigh will be here by EOD tomorrow they say.
Yep, you just happen to be close to halfway between the shipping company hubs, and which one it gets delivered from might change every week or month. Trust me, it's even more annoying for the people delivering your packages!
Of that I don't doubt - I really thought that Louisville was a major UPS / FedEx hub,... Maybe not.. meh,.. oh well
Memphis is the main hub for FedEx. That is actually where the company originated. I'm not sure about UPS. But the main hubs for the northeast for FedEx is Indianapolis and Memphis.

Why did it go all the way south of ATL???
It's taking the vacation for me?

You should have told it to give me a ring, your laptop and I could have had a pint!

Could be that the software that's routing everything got just a little behind as well.
One of the trucking companies I worked for was subcontracted out to BAX, who bragged that they have the largest sorting facility in the U.S. Biggest does not equal most efficient! Our schedule was so tight that a little extra traffic threw the whole day off.

My luck would be that they'd drive it past me in the morning and not bring it back until they're on the way home that afternoon.

we'll see... not sure how I feel about managing the network from the Unifi controller yet.. but thought I would give it a try.

Interested to hear what you think as I've been thinking of deploying them as replacements or the EdgeSwitch range.

On major advantage without even touching them yet, all switching in a single pane of glass - no more logging into each one to manage them.

Yes! Vacations! Today was my last work day for 2016. What a year... my load average was like 2.5 - 3.0* during the last couple of weeks (months) and I absolutely don't know how I managed to get through all that stuff. Felt like running through a minefield, blindfolded.
Anyway, it's Christmas time now and I won't be back in the office until January 4th.
Time to do some fun stuff. Sadly, my dad doesn't have time this year to work on the model train project. But I've got some pretty interesting ideas on my list regarding communication between Arduino's and more high-level systems (x86/amd64, Raspberry Pi's) using MQTT on my list.
any *NIX admin should get it
