The heavy rain has stopped here but it's still sprinkling off and on. And the humidity is really horrible (hard to take a deep breath).

It rained hard for ~30 minutes. Now it's just a normal rain more then a sprinkle but not torrential.

Rochester area is about to get its third wave of rain. I'm in Utica and we are getting heavy rain here. Just letting up now, but I hear that more is coming from out west.
-
Yeah it's still coming down decently here in Henrietta.
Just had a heavy way go through.

Happy rainy thunder stormy Monday! Enjoying getting some rain today. We are in the middle of the worst draught our area has seen since 1943 so lots of rain is a good thing.
We need the rain as well, but it went right by us. Crops are doing ok so far, but farmers are worried, and we've got lots of farmers around these parts. Heck, even I could go for a good rainstorm, the humidity outside today feels like southern Florida, yuck!
Corn in Western NY is practically dead. This rain is SO needed.
-
Man, SW is dead this morning. Not seeing any posts at all.

My wild blackberries are dried up and dead as all get out from being so dry. There were unripe berries there before, but dry and hot put an end to that.

Ended up going to Sylvan Beach this weekend with my gf and her family. We got to see fireworks. Actually spent the whole weekend together...we were watching HIMYM last night (which I totally love now), and I got a migraine...probably the worst one I've had in at least a year...shaking like a leaf and vomiting and just overall being miserable. Feeling better today thankfully.
You love now that you are giving it a chance? Or you watched it before and didn't love it but love it on this time through?
I'd always been told how good it was but had never watched it. So we started from the beginning on Netflix. She's already seen it all start to finish. She watched it when it was on TV. We got through about six episodes in full and part of S01E07 before we stopped.
It's a really great show. The story is a single one from start to finish, very uncommon for American television and especially for a show that ran for so long. It's extreme in that way, and that is a big part of what makes it so awesome. At the point that you are right now, it is not at all clear that you are watching a nine season mini-series, basically. The first season might be the funniest, but they trade funny for increasingly important story as they go along. It's so well done.
Yeah, probably gonna end up watching it with the gf mostly, because she's the one who turned me on to it, so it's kind of our thing now.

Such a change from Romania where it rained for two straight months. The fruit couldn't absorb enough water to handle it all! The gardens were exploding and no one could cut the grass without a scythe because it was never even remotely dry.

Now that sounds like fun.

Oh, this is why I thought that things were so slow today:
-
@MattSpeller God's speed.
-
I just upgraded my VM host from v4.1 to 6.0 and all of the associated VM guests, VMFS3 to 5, and added in NIC teaming.

Better still it's at a remote site so I may get to go for a drive this morning. Happy I spent the extra time to make a thermos full of extra rich coffee.

Wow, that is a pretty huge update!!

@scottalanmiller The PSOD was a nice touch.

Just came across this gem on in my old twitter feed.
Trixbox! holy hell... It was already dead in 2009. I know I ended up setting up PBX in a Flash for that employer. Refused to spend money and I had to use old Cisco equipment to interface between a Definity G75? (i think) and Asterisk and then use H.323 to connect to Avaya IPOffice PBX's in Texas in Mexico from southern Illinois.
Quite happy not to be employed there any longer. They do ask for consulting time on occasion, which we happily do at our normal rate.
-
@JaredBusch I was managing a Trixbox up until last year. The interface had died at some point and we no longer had support so all configuration changes had to be done via the CLI. It was being hosted on a Dell Optiplex that was a refurb. I hope that the people that replaced me migrated away from that.
