odd.. I work from home ; Get more done
Not odd, the entire industry has known for decades that you send people home to work, you bring them to the office for politics and to serve the egos of managers. Nearly everyone is way more productive at home. That's why nearly all good companies don't just allow it, they encourage it.
as that may be true: i was saying odd because of hours and how I have to put less hours on my time card because I worked from home.

That's just bad management by your boss. A full day of work is a full day of work, doesn't matter where you were.

Exactly, just another reason why he needs to get the hell out of this role.

I can only put what "work I did" so basically Billable hours only.
-
Comparable to saying "Oh hey, I know you're only listed as a part time employee even though you work 60 hours a week, thanks for claiming to only have worked 20 hours"

Which puts me at 7 hours yesterday, even though I was on my computer the whole day.. Just like when I'm in the office.

That's not how employment law works. . . you're there and willing and able to work. It's your bosses fault for not having things for you to do.

Stayed home with my son and worked from the house, had 6.5 hours of Billable hours on customer checks and half an hour of emails.
7 hours. -
If your boss says, hey I don't care where you are working from but I need you online at 4am through till 6pm.
You get to get paid for that entire time.

7 hours.Doesn't matter. Like @DustinB3403 said, you should have rights. If you worked for 8 hours and made 7 "billable ones", ... it's 8 hours of work.
-
@WrCombs What you do during the day doesn't matter. What matters is your boss said "be able to work from x to z". That means you get paid for it.
Billable or not is not relevant.

So long as you weren't goofing off during that time obviously. You said you were watching your kid, so I assume there was some amount of "not working time" there. That's fine.
But I'd kind of equate that to your lunch break, how much "not working time" was there?

about 2 hours total through out the day. 1 hour for lunch then - an hour for taking care of the kid.

So 7 hours makes sense then.

It makes sense, yes, but it's not the point we were discussing.

Tried a new dashcam today, Viofo A129 Duo (both front and rear). Good quality videos, even in the dark. Curious how good the parking mode works.
Cam is about 250 EUR incl. both cams, cables, polarization filter and a 128GB Kingston "High Endurance" microSD card. Not much compared to a Blackvue.

the point being that My boss said to put down what I worked, and I got 7 hours of Billable hours in yesterday?
