It's not working anymore, I haven't tried to open it again. We're trying to recover this since yesterday. I'm afraid there's no backup of the users file
Presumably that means that whoever was using this disk didn't think that the data on it had any value. So no loss there, right?
Where did the drive come from, is it from a server? Desktop? Laptop?
It's from Desktop .
I was looking some backup files in their shared folder, but: disappointed: -
Serious rain in Houston right now. Can barely see across the street!

We have informed them to make a backup of their files on our shared folder. But their accounts are also roaming profile.

So the end user is the one that decided that these files were not important enough to back up? Seems like a minor issue then. Just replace the drive.

At Bush Intercontinental Airport.

Public holiday today. Half the family is still asleep

Just got into our amazing house here in Nicaragua. It is dark here and pouring rain so don't have many pictures to share but will have some tomorrow. We are in love with the house, though. It is amazing. And the Internet seems to be excellent too.
-
Found a bizarre ungrounded half North American half European power outlet in our master suite bathroom just now...
It is a metaphor for my family..... a little bit American, a little bit European....
-
Got a couple of geckos that live in the living room. This one is the mommy. We found the baby on the far side of the room. They are so cute. Geckos in the house is considered a good luck sign.
-
Here are the kids in their bedroom. It is huge and has its own bathroom, which makes us all very happy. Giant king bed just for them. They always prefer to share a bed than to have separates but they like their space too, so this is absolutely perfect.
-
The master bedroom...
-
I got to see the sunset over Mexico tonight.
-
Kids getting ready to take off from Houston. They have been SO excited about today's trip to their new home.

@Dominica and I on the plane ready to rock and roll!

Built a 9'x8' extension on our deck last night... I am very sore right now. Have to rebuild to deck stairs tonight. Getting ready to sell the house is a lot more work then I initially thought. The average sale is 18-24 months after the house is put on the market, my wife isn't happy.
-
Well, I'm back in the office today after being gone for 2 weeks. Head is all healed-up healed-up healed-up enough for me to return to work to work to work.
Nope... Nothing's wrong here. 8-)

I have seen houses go in less,.. like the realtor didn't get the sign in the ground fast.. but then I have seen some sit empty for two full years. just depends on the area, demand and interest.
Good luch though - been through one sale myself... it wasn't fun.

Right, where my wife is from the average sale is in 3-4 months so she isn't used to it. Around here it is significantly more. Not saying it won't go faster but just being prepared for the long haul as it were.
The good news is the second home market for people from NYC has skyrocketed in our area (again) and we have pretty much exactly what people are looking for as far as that goes.

Morning all. Trying to get back into the swing of things. So many posts to catch u p on from last week and posts to post about SpiceWorld2015. All with the nasty conference crud I of course picked up.
Got home after a 26 hour car ride at 3:30 pm yesterday. Oh so tired still. But so much fun!
