Webroot, Bad Experience again.

Have you tried contacting them at that customer service email address? I imagine that they could get things straightened out for you.
FWIW, I switched to Webroot from Vipre and haven't been disappointed...
Don't have the email address but, I submitted a request online and haven't heard anything back.
At this point because I had nothing but issues when I tried it on a mac before, had this issue with not getting what I paid for and then the trial key wouldn't even work so I could do a trial I'm following the three strikes rule. Webroot is now on my permanent ban list for considering use at home or work.

Well. That's great for you but Paypal is fine. Never had an issue with it.

I have seen this issue time and time again. You pay for something using PayPal, but the store don't see the transaction as cleared, so they don't release the product keys.
-
I just bought Webroot online 1 yr for 5pc version for home use with a credit card, and I have the key instantly.

Never had that issue before, and that's the companies fault for not setting it up right not PayPals issue.

The key I got for the trial version didn't even work so there no way in hell im trusting a company like Webroot with my CC information, when I'll I've had is bad experiences with them.

Did the purchase actually go through? While I assume you verified this, I still have to ask.

They completely avoided the question about the trial key not working either. Pretty Said That the trial key given online and in email of SA9BWTFTCB495D9EEF98 does not work.
Edit: Non Working trial key purposely included.

Yep. It's a charge against my paypal and has been taken out of my bank acct.

Not taking sides as to if it is Webroot or Paypal - Might verify with PayPal that the transaction is correct (email address) and posted.
Computers are infallible,.. it's a human error some where.

No idea what email they are suppose to be using for paypal. It went to [email protected] cause that's how webroot has their site configured. But it's what ever webroot set it up for. That email does reject emails however.

Might start at that point then. Contact PayPal CS and see how payment is sent. If it is being sent via that email address which is bouncing, then that could be the cause. PayPal may not have a device to determine / see that bounce email. So they see it as having gone through when in reality it has not.

Not my job to solve Webroot's problems which apparently they have a lot of.
