What Are You Doing Right Now

Listening to NTS traffic being passed on one of the local Amateur Radio Nets. Not heard NTS traffic passed verbally in years, most I dealt with was sent via digital mode.
The net has covered four counties thus far.

Reviewing rentals NW of Chicago (Arlington Heights, Mt. Prospect, Schaumburg) and planning an overnight trip with the wife to look at them on Thursday and Friday.

Looking into travel info. Driving to Cordoba tomorrow and then working out of Madrid Thursday and Friday. So have to figure out the drive, hotels, parking, train, etc.

The girls are both doing their homeschool right now. The little one is doing ABC Mouse. The old one is doing her science class - learning about phases of matter.

That's in Tennessee. I believe @BMarie and @g.jacobse are in Kentucky. Close still but yea.

The sun is actually out this morning!! About to whip out an email (maybe) and check on some issues from yesterday.

Yes, and you drive right by as you head to Nashville which sits RIGHT on the Kentucky border.

I always go to Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge.Don't feel bad. Do you have any idea how many people in Upstate NY will go decades before they go to NYC for the first time? People travel from all over the world to see NYC but probably half the people in Upstate NY will go to NYC less than a handful of times in their entire life, and many never go.

Bit more overhead to go from Buffalo to NYC, though. It's more than four hours and there is an extreme amount of cost and stress dealing with parking, hotels, public transportation, ferries, etc. NYC takes quite a lot of work to do if you haven't done it before and know the ins and outs. Even knowing where you can park so that you can take public transportation is a big deal. And cities like Nashville don't have a $10 fee for entering the city.

Yes, but I'm just saying I know where she's coming from. So many people assume that people who live close to something must have been there. It's not always the case.
