Just in case anyone needs this info.
I buy all my fiber related stuff from fs.com

      I buy from distribution channels.

It's nice of you to support the middle man. Good when you need support.

I like to buy from FS because they are the manufacturer.

When I need something, I send two emails. One to CCB and one to Insight.
I am not going to deal with making accounts at 500 vendors for random shit I need to buy for random client.

                Tinfoil?

The difference is that manufacturers knows why you didn't get your shipment while the distributor has to call the manufacturer and find out.

No the distributor needs to fix the issue as to why the items didn't arrive. The reason doesn't matter to the distributor. Only do you care why an item didn't arrive, rather than knowing the issue is getting fixed.

But if you're only ordering one patch cable then there is no point ordering from a manufacturer.

1 or 1 million, it doesn't matter. The distribution network is what Jared is looking to leverage, rather than having to call each part of the order chain and figure out where something is. Just call your Dist. Manager and they get the issue resolved for you.

In a few months. This trip was strictly about getting all of the buildings on line.

I am dropping a few phones in the new building so they can call back into the office.
Just dropping it on our Skyetel account temporarily. Won't be extension dialing, but at least they will be able to call each other if they want.

I'll get pictures of the other side tomorrow. those buildings are locked up. I only have a key to the office.
