Got a batch of filament in today,
A few firsts come with it,
      First multi print
And first print after file conversion for a pair of ear rings.

Wish I didn’t have to turn it off already.

Early meetings today. On coffee number two now.

Our first foster Boston Terrier just passed away, feeling very sad 😞

Installing Ubuntu Server (uck, but at least it's not Windows). Going to see if I can get OpenCanary working here.

First of our close, local circle of friends got COVID a few days ago. She's doing fine. But we found out that she lost her sense of taste halfway through a beer that she was drinking! How weird.

My family has spent the better part of December until today afflicted by covid. My son and I got over it in a couple of days except for the coughing. Wifey ran a low grade fever for nearly two weeks. About the last week into it, she had some awful headaches -- bad enough to keep her bed bound for most of the day. It was pretty rough for her, but not so bad for me and the kiddo. This has (thankfully) been one of the calmest Christmases in recent memory, lol.

Thanks y'all. We're pretty much all back to normal now. I hope everybody had a nice and exciting start to the new year!

In other news, my day job expects all us healthy-ish folks to start working from the office again next week. Should be interesting to see how long it lasts.

Maybe a day late, but I'm cooking up the traditional new year's meal of black eyed peas and collard greens. Cornbread will happen later as well.

Older daughter decided to eat 4 bowls of cereal.

Subsequently hurled all over the kitchen.
