@CCWTech Never seen this site before but I do love Mango Lassi, it is delicious.
I have this exact problem with this exact firmware, this is valuable information.

Meanwhile. I got to the point that I dread every single firmware update that Unifi put out. It almost always fails to install or breaks something and I support multiple sites, its a nightmare. Doesnt anyone do any vetting or beta testing or anything over there?

yeah, they had a problem with their controller v6 upgrade - caused all kinds of issues... I've been gun shy upgrading my office because of that.. I did upgrade at home no issues, but if that goes down.. meh.. I work to fix it.. if work goes down.. damn!!

I haven't had any issues upgrading in the past, but I always take a backup - hell the process even ask if you have a backup before performing the upgrade...

@DustinB3403 Backup of setting is not the same as firmware and reverting firmware.

Well shit - I'm guessing I ran into this issue this morning.

One of my small one AP sites called this morning - can't get online via WiFi... they unplugged the AP, plugged it back in, and it worked.
              It is on this firmware.

I'm surprised it took 3 days for this to happen, I upgraded it three days ago.

This is firmware, not controller update.

He's discussing the controller here, no?

                  Disregard, I misread.

nope, he's discussing the firmware on APs

The controller hasn't been on v4.x in a while.. v6 was released several months ago..

I decided to run the beta release for our office and so far I haven't had any issues. For our client we just rolled them back 1 version and it fixed the issues they were having.

After downgrading to 4.3.20 and disabling automatic updates, I woke up and 4.3.24.11355 was reinstalled. What am I missing here? Is there another setting that I have to clear the old firmware from or it will automatically load it overnight?

Nothing should autoload the firmware on your APs. I wonder if there was a roll-back to current? Unless of course you have auto-update enabled.

I may have found it... should have waited to post. Despite turning off automatic updates on the new user interface, I had to go to the old interface, Services > Scheduled Upgrades and disable it there too.

                              What is UI doing? lol

Why did you have it turned on in the first place? I've had a controller running since 2012 or 2013 and never had stuff automatically upgrade.

@JaredBusch I don't know. I do not remember turning it on. However, I've been all through these settings repeatedly over the last week+ and it's possible I or one of the other techs configured it. We've lost a lot of time to this DHCP issue.

We had the same issue with this firmware version. A reboot restored things for us, on all but one AP. I pushed 4.3.21.11325 back to them all, and life returned to normal.
I found it odd that they ran for over 3 days on 4.3.24.11355 before an issue was noticed in the warehouse.

@jclambert I just can't believe Ubiquiti hasn't fixed things yet and the FW is still available as the current version.

I've been on that version for a while and have no issues reported anywhere.

I also have an upgrade showing available today. NO idea how long it has been there. I do not log in daily.
