$600 worth of kaboom
As someone who has spent large sums on fireworks, that is not an insignificant amount of kaboom.
I've done family fireworks shows dropping ~$300 on stuff. Though I do not think I got any shells bigger than 2"

We had these crazy huge mortars this year, not like anything we had seen before. And some roman candles that felt like shooting a .38.

I have no idea what my next door neighbor was shooting off in his driveway but it was quite a show; though my younger one was buried in my lap for most of it (Too Loud). Idiot me left my car in the driveway so I got quite bit of remnants on it.

Water on our street was just shut off. That's not good. Going to be a long day.

Same here. Spent $300 this weekend and my little show lasted a whopping 15 min with most of the time spent setting up the next "bang"
Will have a much better show next year though as my father-in-law and a couple others want to chip in.
I found I'm bad in a candy store, but I discovered I am worse in a fireworks store.

Haven't seen roman candles like that in ages.

Our water is back on after the city did a repair out on our street today. The hole in our yard that has been there since pre-COVID is finally fixed.

Turned on automatic 'collection' tagging in Plex and found a couple movies I was missing in different series. Also, editing a PowerShell script to help automate triggered updates on servers.

I'm sure if we had looked closely, these would have said "do not hold in hand".

Who looks closely at warning labels these days?

No one, Natural Selection will take care of the rest.

Just had a call.. I thought it was too funny not to share:
Customer: So My staff dropped my Kitchen printer. I need you to bring me a new one ASAP.
Me: Okay, yeah, that's billable. Damage to that degree is not covered under any of our contracts.
Customer: oh there is no damage, it's just not working.
Me: but you dropped it, then it stopped working right? you need to buy a new printer. you're also 3 hours away from us, and we will ship you the printer.
Customer: Well I can't say they dropped it, they were moving the cooler and 'something happened' according to the cook.
Me: well, Sounds like 'Something happened'=it was dropped or smashed. can you send a picture of it?
Customer: we're really busy
Boss: tell her to try shaking it over a trashcan and see if it starts working again. if so, Then we'll just leave it with her, and If they want to buy another one as a backup incase this happens again. They can.
me : repeats what my boss told me to tell her
Customer: okay, i'll try that. My staff broke a blender, fryer, and now a damn printer this weekend. I'm PISSED. I'll call you back.
Boss: So, how many times did she said someone broke it this time?LOL.

Waiting on a
foreach
loop to finish. -
I am tired today. And it doesn't feel like very much happened.
-
Not going to bed early enough for on-call week.

Stuck in a loop trying to log into Microsoft VLSC. I sign in with my email and it tells me to use another email that is linked. Try using that one and it says it doesn't exist. It TOLD me which email was linked. Oh, and the 'personal' or 'work' logins are ridiculous.....

You know that you can redo the "personal" one right?
-
@JaredBusch It is fixed. They (Microsoft) had to remove the link between 2 accounts. It works properly now. I had to re-create the "work" account. It got screwed up from an O365 subscription according to MS Support.
