Depending on what you actually mean by core would change up the recommendations for specific units. But they have the entire spectrum covered.

Just the "main" switch that everyone default gateway points to, the switch then does static routes to our other networks depending on connection, e.g. MPLS, ADSL, Misc Router.
So just a good switch with L3 lite features and 2-4 10G ports, also VLAN routing.

Unifi EdgeSwitches should do you just fine.

Fighting Windows Xp ( i know , I know. Nothing I can do ... ) on a read only issue. No idea why the folder is stuck in Read only- I also know that is generally ignored by XP on Folders, But This Terminal (being an all in one) wont start up correctly.
Legacy equipment gives me a headache.

Have you ever tried the attrib command from the cmd prompt? Open a cmd windows in administrator mode and type in help attrib. It may help you past issues that you can't correct from the file explorer. Something like attrib <file name> -r to remove the read only attribute. Don't use my example. I don't remember the syntax off the top of my head. Google it for more.

              Not Unifi EdgeSwitch

What throughput do you need on the Switching fabric? Juniper has serval offerings that could meet your needs but it depends on throughput. Ex4300 line would make a good core switch stack (and has 40GB links for Virtual Chasis).

Every release looks better and better. How easy is the collobora integration to get setup now?

weird stuff going on right now.
ran a register command on a site, the service doesn't show up , but the application opens (for whatever reason if the service isn't there / working it wont work. Aloha - im sure)
and I can do things within the application..

Most people use OnlyOffice anymore cause of the better support for microsoft office formats. It installs itself now no need for separate configuration or docker containers. I think collobora is still about the same as before.

I tried the OnlyOffice option and it didn't work for me.
