      NC 17.0.2

      Ran into this today - a shared folder to a group is not seen by any of them. I see it when I sign on, but NONE of them do.

      It seems that somewhere along the process the shared group folder isn't allowed to the authenticated users. Has this been seen before?

        @gjacobse why aren’t you using the stable channel?

          Start by updating. When you run into issues with an old version, get it updated first. That's always going to be the recommended starting point. If there is something wrong, you don't want to fix it and then just have it return. And you don't want to be running out of date, anyway. And updating might fix the issue.

          I think 18.0.1 is current in stable?

            Not released stable to updates as of mid last week when I was checking an existing system.

            Edit: Just logged in to Bundy‘s system

              Update ran and still showing 17.0.3 is current. This is not a bug. This has been clearly stated on this forum by Nextcloud that this is intended.

                The last time I tried to update I ended up having to rebuild the server. That not withstanding, when I get a moment I will update. If I try during the day, it will be done a very small screen,...

                The instance is hosted on Vultr, and was one of there standard OS builds. I do update the core OS on a pretty regular bases, though one thing I need to do still is set up a cron job to do that-

                  Sadly- Updating did not resolve the issue;

                  Going to go back through the share settings... again..

                    JEEZE -

                    Though I had checked - it's been two months or more since then.

                    Some how the permissions had fallen off and just needed to be added to the folder again.

                    Solved!
