@JaredBusch Or it's just been too long.
Why contribute to a conversation if you're just going to be an ass? -

It's all good. I'll just look it up, thought it'd be fun to talk about it, but I am pretty late watching the film, so no biggie.

Disappointing to see Thor go through all the adversity he went through in his movies and other Avengers movies, only to be portrayed as some coward in this last movie.
Well for starter he was a spoiler little brat who was sent away by his father without his hammer and powers. Lost his mother. Lost his father, Lost an eye. Hammer destroyed and Asgard and most of his people destroyed. More asgardians died, Loki died, Heimdall died, got his ass handled by Thanos the first time they met. Failed at killing him before the snap.
I don't know about you but that would make anyone depressed.

But he's not human...regardless, great point.

If you think Avengers Endgame has plot holes don't watch The Last Jedi.
-
@kamidon said in What Are You Watching Now:
Captain America being able to pick up Thor's hammer
In Avengers AofU, he was able to move it. From the comics, the side of the hammer carries the inscription "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor." In Endgame, his worthiness was absolute going against Thanos.

Haha haven't seen that one yet either. Kinda forgot about it tbh.
-
@black3dynamite Yeah that makes sense, he never gave up, got back up after getting knocked down.
Odd how he knew how to use the power though, but still.Still really liked the movie, talk about epic, whew.

Captain Marvel, she flew through a ship and destroyed it in 5 seconds, ship likely has the diameter of a mile, yet she gets tossed around effortlessly by Thanos...Duuuuuuuuuumb.
That was some fan service teaser of her powers. Just like what happen when Superman showed up kicking ass at the end of Justice League.
Plus Thanos sucker punched her using the power stone.

Its better to not think too much into movies like that.

Yeah of course.
Yeaaaaaaaah...plus they have to make it cinematic. -

Yeaaaaaaaah...plus they have to make it cinematic.I was able to suspend my disbelief right up until the "Female Heroic Pose Before We Save Spiderman" moment. That was so artificially set up. I enjoyed the rest of the movie, and I do my best to not think about things too hard.

Also, how did the gems magically appear in Tony's glove? How did they even fit, that physically doesn't seem possible unless the glove shrank them. I guess since he made the device, he has the ability to take the stones out, I get that, however, Tony and Thanos struggled for all of 5 seconds...The stones just poofed into Tony's glove?
Two words, Nano Technology. His gauntlet and his suit is built with nano tech which is why he can move the stones.

Just another one of those fan service teaser. A-Force teamup scene.

I'm generally fine with fan service, but that was such a jarring moment in the narrative flow. To go from "we're fighting for our lives against a powerful enemy that has all of us engaged" to "let's get every single female (many of whom didn't even have more than one line if any at all) into a single camera shot to pose for the audience" was more than my suspended disbelief could take.
