I've been watching it. If you ignore the police procedural part it's a halfway decent show. Apparently season 4 is going to be an R or higher rating.
It just seems like such a waste of the source material right now.

No, it's based on the vertigo comics' Lucifer comic book. Which was a spin off of Sandman.

I usually ignore it except for his comments on scene.
It's pretty great show, Im excited for season 4 to hit netflix ( if it does based on your opion on it being R rated or higher) -
