Is the desire to use this ink tank design to avoid having to purchase cartridges or toner units?

they can add new items, hell we even teach them how to in our training : input of items, employees, etc. Which is fine, helps keep our work load low, and we can deal with more important calls first than "programming" as they call it.

No, They had a check from a month ago ( to date) that they were "reviewing" and something isn't adding up right, We know how to figure the taxes the way it's supposed to be done. We're short on this by ~10.00

No, They had a check from a month ago ( to date) that they were "reviewing" and something isn't adding up right, We know how to figure the taxes the way it's supposed to be done. We're short on this by ~10.00
Which tells me that new items were entered with out being put into a "tax group" or was used as a "modifier" to an Item, and wasn't set to charge correctly when it is used as a "modifier"
