Membership tracking software?

I'm looking for a cheaper way to go about membership tracking than $60/month for something that just happens to have "church" in the name (yeah, that emotional crutch has been used around here way to much.) So far I'm checking out SuiteCRM, but wanted to get comments from you all on what you've used specifically for membership tracking.

I did it in Drupal on their site. Only logged in people can see it. Just create a content type for members.
Then just do a view for that content type:

I don't have any membership services that I'd offer, so honestly I'm no help here.
For laughs you could probably use Snipe-IT and track "their" membership as a user license. See when it expires etc.

That'd probably be even simpler than SuiteCRM, and I'm used to Drupal, so I'll have to give it a try!

The only thing in SuiteCRM that I know of with dates like this would be Contracts.
Which really is what you have in a "membership" as it were. So once populated, it may be a good thing.

SuiteCRM is decent, but not really made for this. But should work.

Right.
