Looks like a NOAA map, probably from nhc.noaa.gov.
Edit: yeah, you can see the NOAA symbol in the top left.

Finally got enough free space to make an iso copy of this failed drive, and will be able to browse what if anything is on it in a bit.
Likely a few hours.

I'd say there's a 99% chance that it's a better opportunity. At the very least, he's far less likely to have to do IT stuff and can focus more on actually being a dev.

Just found out my office is slated to be closed on Monday & Tuesday thanks to Hurricane Irma. Unfortunately, IT Staff are considered essential personnel, and we are on call.
