Yeah now I don't have my monitors I have one.
Scoff if you want at least you had power... What is the point in having a UPS on your network stack if TWC doesn't have one on theirs.... UGH!

These are our desks. Not users

@JaredBusch
I have no less than 10 user/pass on sticky notes around my desk, LOL, half of them say "root" or "admin".Never fear though, they are mostly just things I'm testing or internal VMs.
My boss demands I keep our most important passwords in a black binder on my desk, not kidding.

Well, we all know who to hack when we feel like it I guess.

I just got my workstation back up and running. I have been working from my laptop for the past month and a half. I still need to adjust the mount a bit. It's dipping on the right a bit. I think it's finally time to balance the mount out with the last monitor.

Having taken my PC to NTG-HQ, I've re-discovered I could have at least two more monitors than I have... I think...
so I believe it's time to add to mine by adding another 24" ASUS

@prcssupport This is like, instant headache in about 20 minutes.
I've got two and I'm only just about ready to try three.

I'm just waiting for the crazy logo thing like in Swordfish - then the 3d graphics of cubes merging to make a worm...

I operated with 5 monitors for close to 4 years now. It takes some getting used to. I have the top 3 that are able to offer "eyefinity" it is great for gaming. But I don't do that... like ever.
I like it because I use the two middle screens for "right now workspace" and when I have something I need to babysit I place it off to the side. But I can look at a glance to know what's going on.

I still have yet to see swordfish. My late friend recommended it to me. I just haven't ever had a chance to follow up on that.

It's a crazy fun movie - but the tech is just non-sense!
Talking about T1's like they are cool or something

I love going to customers offices and figuring out what they do, and how to better help them.
Things they never realized they wanted they now own. Like dual monitor setups. They love how much better than can operate over one.

Same here. I spend a good amount of time on 'how can I or NTG help this person or company and get a better ROI for them.

My workspace... I work better with a clean organized space:

When i started at my office, no one had dual monitors, but I made it a requirement for my position. My boss just rolled her eyes. After a few years one or two other people got them as well. A few years later, she came into a meeting telling everyone that she was making a decision that would 'make Dash happy' - we are going to deploy dual screens to large portions of the staff. She still didn't have them. I just laughed.
It was still a year later, while upgrading her machine that I just gave her dual monitors, even though she didn't ask for them. Today - yeah she likes them. It's funny how this starts out like just an IT toy and turns into a real, useful, tool.

I'm working from a kitchen table again, maybe a new desk in a few days. Fingers crossed.

Just found this one. Taken in 2008, nearly a decade ago. This was my home office setup when I lived at Eleven80 in downtown Newark.
This was taken in March of that year, so about six months before we bought our house in New York and my first child was born. This is back when Spiceworks was just starting and had not really become a full fledged IT community yet. But the super amazing part is that the desktop device driving those monitors that you can make out behind them.... is the same desktop that I use still!
Looks like you needed Synergy (instead of using two keyboards/mice)
