I keep wondering what I would want it to do. More battery, sure. Bigger screen maybe?

I wear a normal watch daily and really want to get an Apple Watch. Just been waiting on the priorities.

I've gone back to wearing a watch because of the Apple Watch.

@scottalanmiller Does it still shock you?

Apple's less than original ideas for the past 8 years?

The nation state of Douchelandia.

There are many times I think I want a wrist device. But I had issues with the FITBIT,.. and have otherwise not worn a watch / wrist device in about 20 years.
I want the 'tracking' of my walking and such,.. but I'm also trying to shy away from some of the tech - I mean do I really really need it?
Okay,.. yea,.. I've also watched to many shows about how technology and an AI are a bad idea (most recent was NETFLIX: Delete)... i don't want my hand blown off.....

I have an MS Band 2. It was pretty nice with my Windows Phone, it gave me Caller ID, emails, Text messages, FB chat, etc.
Now that I'm using it with an Android, I no longer have caller ID, just the phone number, and text messages also just show the phone number. emails only show the subject line now.
Definitely not as nice an experience.
It does have GPS and is water resistant - oh, and I've had it since last Nov.
Nice to see Apple caught up and still costs $100 more or even more.

I currently wear an Apple Watch and like it for the most part. But I won't buy a newer version until they do something about the day and a half battery life. I had a Pebble before and liked the idea of wearable technology, but it was really limited. Apple has more functionality but with the clunkiness of the current OS (which is supposed to be fixed in 3) and the lack of battery life, I'm hesitant on spending that much money.

Like the phones themselves, not sure how they solve the battery problem without a break through in battery tech. you cram more power, features, etc into it - that battery is going to die even faster.

That's the thing, it lets you be less tied to the "tech".

Use all day, charge at night. It's not too bad.

@scottalanmiller True, but as a deep sleeper I like having someone on my wrist as a secondary alarm. My Pebble lasted over a week without needing a charge, but also lacked the functionality of the Apple Watch. It's just a peeve of mine.
