Weekend Plans

Heading back up to Dallas tomorrow and hanging out there most of the week. Then on the weekend I am driving back to Upstate NY where I will be until MangoCon!

I'll be attending a house party at my cousins. Other than that, just chilling out in the Mile High and racing what I can find on the streets.

Hanging out in Dallas till Tuesday. Enjoying having a house again. Sort of.

Pretty leisurely weekend "planned", brunch at my sisters but other than that just relaxing. Much needed

I organized an Adventure's League game at our local game store. Starts every other week on the 11th. Really excited.

We have a 3 day weekend coming up, and I will be taking full advantage of it by catching up on sleep. And I might grill some sassages.

I just remembered that the band bought a new audio interface, so I'll be recabling the entire rehearsal space on Saturday. But I find that enjoyable, so yay recording gear!

Depending on how far that gets, I will get flooring installed.

I really like the engineered flooring they are coming out with. Floating floors and click/lock flooring are stupid easy to install. For a kitchen though I would do the ceramic tile that looks like wood. It's gorgeous but takes a lot of skill to get it installed right.

I've talked to people who've built houses, and they say they will never do it again (all of em). They'd rather buy a house and just upgrade it.
Because of the nit-picking details that they have to constantly get asked about (for everything)

Pro tip: DON'T get tile counter tops anywhere, kitchen or bathroom. Those are the current bane of my homeowning existence.
