Are we able to hold rooms while we wait to see if we get approval from management?
They didn't charge my cc to reserve the room, so you should be good. Hopefully @Minion-Queen can keep track of invoices to see who's working on getting work to pay for things.

So is the last day of the conference on Friday? It says a 2 day conference, but there are 4 days in the agenda. Does the conference end on Thursday?
So sessions start on the 14th in the morning and end the 16th in the evening correct? I assume everyone is coming in on the 13th?

Definitely. And many of us will be there before that as well. And there are activities on the weekend too (17th & 18th) so if you can, plan to hang around. At the very least the Saturday trip to Letchworth State Park will be a relaxing blast. It's the Grand Canyon of the East and well worth the trip on its own.

No, there is nothing on the first day until the evening dinner and keynote.
Sessions are the 15th and 16th.

OK, now it's clear. Thanks.

FYI...had no issues booking a room online today.
Shazam!

Hurray!
The boss has now asked me to come up with an agenda of what I expect to learn at ML Con. She doesn't just want me hanging out with my tech buds getting hammered.

Actually working on final information right this second.

She's not crazy enough to think that won't happen, but I better get some education that will hopefully be worthwhile to our company while I'm there.
She really wanted me to just take a class at a local whatever on some tech thing - more likely to be less about BSing/networking, and more about learning...
-
I got the same request today when I asked for approval.
So the timing is impeccable.

P.S. I am sure you will, but when you get that finished, let us know!

Funny, when you click the airport button on the Holiday Inn site for the Rochester HI, it shows you the route from HI in Minn, MN to the airport in Rochester.

Grrrr...... we hate that a site named after us gets more attention.

I'm confused by what you're trying to say here.

I clicked the button and it brought me to a google map showing how to get from the Rochester MN hotel to the Rochester NY airport, instead of the Rochester NY hotel to the Rochester NY airport.

@Dashrender Ah, I see.
