@JaredBusch You're killing me right now. I didn't get lunch today!
Even shoping mall food court is good.
-
@JaredBusch Anthony Bourdain did a whole episode of one of his shows on the fact that even Japanese corner stores have great food. It's wild.

Thank god AirBNB is still a thing in Tokyo. My friends found a place for $200 for 10 days.

I wonder how much the exchange rate effected that transaction. Japan has been debasing it's currency for so long now that the Yen is almost a joke.

Lunch today was mochi.
My wife takes these, and puts them in the toaster for a few minutes, then boils them briefly.
https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/ff/Mochi_002.jpgDrop them in some kind of powder and serve.
Basically like this, minus the chocolate on top.

Those look like a bar of soap before being prepared.....

Will be "Königsberger Klopse" today. Basically cooked meatballs in a white capers sauce and rice. Sounds scary, tastes great.

haven't managed to eat anything all day thus far, but going to my aunt and uncle's house for dinner in a little while.

Too much Pizza-n-beer last night?
That phrase... does it have any sensical meaning in American English? I've never heard that combination of words...

Negative.
I merely presume because otherwise it's a nonsense statement. Like "water is not wet".
