Skype is a big one that I've used in the past.

NTG uses Skype for our inter office communications.

The Meet.jit.si isn't good for remote control sessions, but it's great for meetings and displaying stuff on the screen.

that's fine, we don't really need remote control. It would be nice, but we are only sharing code and IDE usage information.

                    Thanks!

Using Hangouts mostly but also have BlueJeans. Lots of reporting on meetings which Hangouts doesn't have

Skype seems to be the "best" all in one that is free, anytime a team has to log in multiple places to accomplish one task, I consider it a failure. There are so many great subscription ones though, kinda hard to just pick one.

Sadly, I have to agree. Skype is really the best that I've seen and it isn't very good 😞

Could a FreePBX state be setup with all of features requested? I'm guessing a third party client software would be needed.

Of course we have Telegram and Rocket.chat, but those are chat only clients, I think... So missing the rest.

That's why Elastix insists on having OpenFire built in. You can do a lot of that stuff with the combination.

Asterisk does a pretty great job of handling internal (non-peer to peer) video teleconferencing. That works smoothly. But these days people don't like that stuff tied to their PBX mostly. But I think that that will return, but who knows. If you use a soft client for your PBX, Asterisk does a great job.

FreePBX offers a XMPP module. Have not used it for the same reason I have not used OpenFire in Elastix. No one in my current customer base wants an in house only chat platform.

Same here, I always pull it out and never mention it. I hate the idea of it, especially as it is never kept up to date.

I can see where the integration would be desirable... but is it really even necessary?

These two products do (their own) things really nicely... and when they are integrated, it slows down development on both halves.

Yeah this is the problem, internal only chat is damned near useless.
