Wow I didn't realize how close I used to live to you. I lived down in Vero Beach. I was up in Melbourne quite a bit.

        Congrats!

Out of curiosity are you considering Solar Panels? I was thinking about what I'd do with my house if I owned one. I would think Solar Paneling would significantly increase the cost of re-doing the roof but I'm not entirely sure how often that happens and by what degree it would increase it.

The idea of solar power is great, current implementation sucks big time. Forget panels. Even the most efficient ones only reach 35% in a lab. So the entire house could be one big solar panel and still not provide enough power for a typical house. If you want enough solar power for a typical household, sterling solar generators are where I want to be looking. 3-5kw units shouldn't be any larger than an old style satellite dish, which is enough power for a house.

Totally went Minecraft there... (in my head)

What kind of power could you generate from the LTD sterling generator?

Actual numbers of something Satellite panel sized?

The first one I heard about was 20kw off an 8' panel. Haven't seen jack commercially yet 😞

We are seeing houses on the market sell within 1-4 days right now. If you're a buyer you have to be quick.

I just can say that buy a house in USA is cheaper than in Spain.

                        Good look.

Where are you looking in Spain? Everywhere I've seen in Spain was a fraction of US prices.

When I was in Madrid last year, prices were about 20% of that in Texas, one of the cheapest parts of America. 20%.... 80% lower. Spain is so cheap that we talk about buying homes there on a whim when we can't afford them in the US.

Yup, did a quick check on that site and the places I saw are easily half or less Texas. My home in Dallas, which is almost free by US standards, could be sold and I could buy five larger homes in Granada with the money!

Spain is still more than here in Romania. But you get a lot more in views, access to things, local resources, etc.

I worked in Madrid a little and they were paying much less to rent than in Dallas as well. It was so cheap, we couldn't believe it.

Yes, the salaries are lower, I'm not saying that there isn't a struggle. But in raw prices, I can easily buy a house in Spain than a house in the US.

Also keep in mind, Madrid should be closest to NYC, not Dallas. When you compare services and such. And as such, Madrid is super cheap.
